FAQ’s

  1. What type of paper do I need?
    Matte, semi-gloss, and high gloss photo paper are your best choices for a lasting picture with brilliant color. They are rated from 8 to 8.5 mil thick. We also offer a no-gloss coated paper for banners, a cost effective alternative to photo paper rated at 5.5 mil thick. Standard printer paper is rated at 4 mil thick.

  2. How long does it take to get my pictures?
    It usually takes 1 to 3 days for processing and 2 to 4 days for shipping. So, all together approximately 3 to 6 days.

  3. How do I send digital images to you?
    After you pay for you order, you will be redirected to the image upload page where you can browse for the picture on your computer and then upload it to us.

  4. Can you enlarge my developed photos?
    Yes we can. You can either scan the photo yourself and upload it to us. Or you can send the photo to us by regular mail and we will scan it. Please be sure to package your photo properly for shipment. A bubble-wrap envelope is suggested. We will return it with your enlargement. NOTE: We cannot be held responsible for damaged photos during shipment to us.

  5. How do I send my photos to you?
    Our mailing address is listed on the info page. Please include your order number with your photo. See #4 for shipping instructions.

  6. What are the requirements of the digital image that I send you?
    The largest image size that you can upload to us will produce the best quality picture. We would suggest at least a 1280×960 pixel size. This is equivalent to a 1.3 mega-pixel digital camera. Just remember that higher mega-pixel cameras will produce better looking enlargements. When scanning a picture to send to us, please use a setting of at least 300 dpi on your scanner.

  7. Can you repair my damaged photos?
    Yes we can. tears, stains, water spots, and scratches can all be fixed. Your photo will be scanned and converted to a digital image. The image can then be touched-up and returned to it’s original state.

  8. Can I get enlargements from a negative or  slide?
    Yes you can. Please see #4 for shipping instructions.

  9. Can you convert a color photo to black & white?
    Yes we can. This option is offered on the order page.

  10. Can you convert a black & white photo to color?
    Sorry, we don’t do colorization.

  11. Will my finished pictures have a white border?
    Yes they will. It is approximately 3/8 of an inch wide on a full size enlargement.

  12. What types of payment do you accept?
    We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover on our order page. We also accept payments through Paypal. Sorry, we cannot accept personal checks. They will be returned if sent for payment.

  13. How much does shipping cost?
    The base price for 2 to 3 day priority mail shipping is $5.95. If you need it quicker, we offer 1 day express mail shipping for $19.95. (Please check to see if 1 day service is available to your address).

  14. How are my enlargements shipped?
    Your enlargement will be shipped in a USPS Priority or Express mail tube with foam protectors at each end.

  15. How will I get the picture back that I send you?
    Your picture will be secured in the tube with the enlargement. If it is too large for the tube, it will be shipped separately.

  16. What are the grades of the papers that you use?
    All papers are for indoor use and are not weatherproof.  Thickness ratings are 8 to 8.5 mil. Please see #1.

  17. Can you print other picture sizes that aren’t listed?
    Yes, custom sizes not listed on the order page can be printed usually for the price of the next largest size to yours. Give us the exact size that you need and we will let you know for sure.

  18. Can you do special editing and artwork to my pictures?
    Yes we can. We charge $10 per 1/4 hour of work with a minimum of 1/2 hour. Please email your picture to us and tell us what you want. We will email you back a quote so that you may place your order on the order page.

  19. How can I find out if my order has been shipped?
    You may login to our website to view the status of your order. You will also receive an email from the US postal service after they receive your package from us.

  20. Can I get a refund on an order?
    We will refund any order that has not been printed. If you are not happy with an order that you receive, we will do what we can to make you satisfied. If you do not know if your picture quality is good enough for enlarging, please send it to us and we will advise you. Paid orders are an acknowledgement from you to print and complete the order as listed, so please be sure to send the image that you want processed.
